Pont a la vida - The bridge to life

The association Pont a la vida (Bridge to life) is a small animal shelter in the heart of Catalonia, Spain.

Pont a la vida is taking care of abandoned animals in our region.

An essential part of our tasks is to prepare the animals with love & patience to a possible new home. But also the welfare and care of sick and old animals is an important part of our work.

Since 2008 Pont a la vida saved hundreds of lifes of stray dogs and cats and we are proud, that so many of them found a very good home.
We also have old and sick dogs that are no longer available for adoption, so they will stay forever on our “bridge to life”.
Pont a la vida acts completely independent of city halls. We cover our costs through membership fees and donations, but with a lot of financial problems due to the economic crisis here in Spain.
Therefore, we would like to thank our friends in Spain and Germany, who always have supported us.
